You took a big chance back there. You lied to the sheriff and played me up to be the bad guy, either one of which could land your butt in the deep end. / Sorry, Ben. I went with my instincts. I knew the sheriff disliked you enough to believe you'd pull a stunt like that. / But most of all, I couldn't let Paul get hurt because of my pride. He's a good man, and so I'll cover for Chelsea one more time. / She didn't ask to be what she is. Just as Paul didn't ask to be possessed. / Then... it's true. / Everything they told me... is TRUE. |
If all you have left is hatred, punish yourself, but if you have the courage, ask for forgiveness. / I... yes, I will... please, Papa, find your peace and forgive yourself. / Cyn... thia? / You hurt me, Papa. You stole my baby. You stole my hearing. You stole the life I could have had with my beloved Winston. You did all this to your own daughter, for you own selfish pride... but I forgive you. / I only wish I had done so in life. / So do I, Sally. So do I. / Well, that was different. |
Cynthia? Are you okay? Is it you? / I'm fine. I'm me... I think. / Did what I think just happened, just happened? / I think so? / It certainly appears that way, dear. Sally Wellington came through YOU to forgive her father, and hopefully, they are both at peace. / You mean that was it? No earth shattering KABOOM? What a gyp! |
If all that blonde bimbo had to do was forgive her father, then why didn't she do it BEFORE he made my life a living hell?! / Forgiveness often takes longer than it should. / Sally came through because Paul believed. Magick isn't about power. It's about belief and being open to possibilities. When Paul opened the door to the possibility of forgiveness, Sally came through. / Okay! Okay! I forgive you both! Are you HAPPY now? I sure hope so! And if you ever haunt my house again... / Heh, heh. |
Hello there fella! Whatcha know good? / How's your world doing tonight, boy? Huh? I bet you don't have a worry in this whole world, do ya? You run, play in the ocean, eat and sleep. You got it made. / But then, you came to me in a very odd manner. I guess you could say you were sent to me... by a ghost. / Now, I bet you're not so certain of what your world is, are ya, boy? / Neither am I. |
| |
Paul's going to be fine, Diane. Deputy Hart and I got the charges dropped... in a roundabout way. / Wonderful. / Thank you, Ben. I can't tell you how much this means to Cynthia and me. You always come through when it really matters. / I know what I've told you tonight is a bit hard to take, but we will be able to handle it. You're a strong man, Ben, and I DO love you. We'll work it out. / Not this time. |
Are you certain of its authenticity? / It is a genuine pre-Portal War Exror Ra Deda-Evin U-Chalb. / It will not be missed? / All the previous owner of this weapon will miss is his head. Now, we will turn to the matter of my fee. / How would you like to TRIPLE your fee. There may be another artifact I need you to obtain. |
An U-Chalb of Disgrace. I've never seen one. They are quite legendary. / And quite taboo within any WOLF territory. / It's use could start a war. / The grey wolf and the red wolf clans are again at odds over disputed territory. It could be taken to a conflict arena. / If so, we will pay a visit to the victor. |
Why are we going to Mama's if she moved in with Chelsea and grandma? / We're not. Chelsea asked us to meet her and Jubal on the beach, near your parents' cottage. It has something to do with the ocean. / The ocean? What's the deal with the ocean? / It's big. / The ocean's energy is such a positive force that we could do far worse than talk things over out here. Besides, it's big. The ocean can dwarf any problems we all have. |
How's mama? / She's doing that best she can, I suppose. / I was hoping this was just going to be a TIME-OUT for daddy, but it's been a couple of days. He said he'll come back after he gets his head straightened back on, but still... I can't believe that he... well, ran off like that. / I mean, daddy can be a bear, but I never thought of him of being afraid. / I guess I should be thankful Paul didn't leave too. / We all have a lot to be thankful for. |
| |
Okay, I've called you guys here, because there are some things we probably need to discuss... you know, clear the air. I don't want to press any issues, but we shouldn't be afraid to talk. / Does anyone have anything they want to say? / I think the air out here is clear enough, hee. / Yeah, now does anyone want ot bury Chelsea in the sand and tickle her feet? / Me! Me! Me! / Wait a minute! |
I hope you had a good time. / We just blew off some steam. / Like you didn't enjoy it. / But, are you ever tired of it all? So much crap happens to us, mostly due to me. I have to wonder. Are you... tired of me? / Answer only with your eyes? / So mote it be. |
I like your hair. / Well, thank you. I like yours too. / Yeah, you look like Rogue. / A rogue? / No, the X Men. / I'm sorry. The kidlets got away from me. / I'm Miranda Bloom, and this is Disa and Dustin. We're your new neighbors. Big duh. / I'm Chelsea Chattan. This is my grandma's house, but she and my mom are out right now. / How wonderful. You've got the whole family right over there. / Yeah, even my boyfriend, heh. / You're very lucky to have family so close. / Yeah... I am very lucky in that respect. / Very LUCKY indeed. |
Oh gawd no! Not the belly button! Hee hee hee hee!! / Rreoww? / Heh, Chelsea, you are SOOOO evil. / You started it with the pillow fight. / You just watch out. You're on MY turf now, sister. / Ooooh, I'm sooo scared. |
Thanks again for having me up here. I really needed the vacation. / Glad to have you. / Life has been, well, weird, but weirder than normal. The stuff with Paul and Cynthia was bad enough, but what I went through with Corrine was... well, I've had better times being bound naked. / Well... THAT was too much information, wasn't it, sweetie? / Sorry. So has she done anything WEIRD yet? / We DO seem to have a problem with going POTTY in my shoes. / At least she doesn't SMIRK about it afterwards, like ONE cat I know. |
| |
OH COME ON! No werewolf is going to get up after being blown away by an Uzi! Not unless he's cursed! / Maybe this guy's cursed. / Can't be. Another werewolf bit him earlier in the picture. / Maybe, THAT werewolf was cursed. / It doesn't work that way. / WHAT?! Now he's TALKING? Do you know how many years it takes a MORPH to perfect the art of speech?! And this guy's only been a werewolf for fifteen minutes... and he's eaten thirty people! / Thank god they're not showing Teen Wolf. |

Most spells are based on belief and will. It's those key elements that will determine if a spell is successful. The more a witch believes, the better chance the spell will work. / Grandma Svoboda used to do "Incants" to ward off bad spirits. I always thought of it was a kind of positive reinforcement. / That's essentially what MOST spells are. They help a witch to focus on her goals. Sometimes potions and herbs do help, like when I brought Cynthia out of her coma. Of course that was a spell cast by Corrine. Not all spells are used for good. / I understand that, but you CHANGE physically into another species. How is that based on JUST belief? / I will admit that I am much more closely connected to magick than most witches. That means itis easier for me to cast spells and do the REALLY hard stuff like portal or change at will. Still, the principle is the same. / Okay, my ancestors were SHAPESHIFTERS. They were wizards who could transform into animals by sheer will and belief. Over time that ability became inherent. Of course, that was a long time before the Mo'r Sine curse. / How are you doing with that? / Sometimes, I get the urge to kill a rabbit or have a very rare steak. Other times I'm a bit more mischievous than normal, but all in all, I'm good. / Unfortunately, even a GREAT bowl of guacamole doesn't do a thing for the curse, but a strong friendship does wonders. / Awww, that's sweet. Now, gimme! |
You've gotthe bed, and I'm on the couch, 'kay babe? See you in the morning. / Listen, I don't want to throw you out of your bed. We can share the bed. I won't bite... or anything else. / Well... / Just remember, that if you feel something tickling your legs during the night, it's only my tail swishing back and forth. / I'm only kidding!! / And I thought MY cat was a pain in the ass!! |
Yes, I KNOW this will cost an incredible number of jobs. Why do you think I endorsed it? But at this time, stopping the Uber-Mall project will... benefit more than it will harm. Trust me. / No, I can't discuss this in person. I realize this is an enormous leap of faith, but you MUST do as I ask. We must stop the mall from... / They found me... / Senator? What's going on? SENATOR?! |
Yes, this is Martel Harris. What do you want? / Senator Beacham? The senator from Oklahoma? Yes, I am familiar with the senator, in fact our families have a long history... WHAT? / I'll be on the next plane out. / Damn. |
| |
Hrrrmrr, what the -- phone... ringing... ohhhh, fiddlefart. / Bllrrrlllrrllr! / If this is Julieanne McIntyre calling, I would like to remind her that I have the DAY OFF. Now, unless aliens are landing on the White House lawn... / CAN IT RAE! I need you down at the municipal parking garage ASAFP! This is terrible. This is BIGGER than a few weeks ago. / Someone's... Oh God, Rae, Senator Beacham has been murdered. / What?! |
Hello? Is anyone there? Anyone? / Grrrrrrrroorr / Oh no... / Chelsea? Chelsea, honey? You need to wake up. |
Chelsea? I need you to wake up, Honey. Something very BAD has happened. Chelsea? / Grrrrr / Oh, Sweet Jesus -- Chels, I really don't need this now. / Now you need to get a hold of yourself, girl... LOOK at what you've done to my sheets! BAD CHELSEA! |
I'm sorry, Rae. I'll pay for the sheets. I had a nightmare and changed during the night. It happens sometimes. / It's a good thing I slept on the couch. / CRAP! I'm late! I need to be at the municipal parking garage now! / I could portal us... / NO!! Even if it means my JOB, I will never PORTAL with you anywhere again! / Okay! Okay! / Uh... did you say PARKING GARAGE? |
I was in some sort of parking garage in my nightmare. At first, I was all alone, but then I heard... SOMETHING coming after me. It was then I changed into kitty. / Dreams can be very telling, but until we learn different, we'll mark this as a coincidence. / I'm sorry about the senator, Rae. Admiring politicians was never a strong point of mine, but no one deserves to be murdered for any reason. / Beacham WAS admired by many people in this state. It's going to be tough on all of us... again. |
| |
A few weeks ago, one of Senator Beacham's top aides was murdered... no, he was mutilated, clawed to... bits. / That was the same night Jules saved the station's ASS by routing the feed through the SAT truck. Now she's little Miss Boss woman... anyway... / Yeah, you told me about the fire and Terry. How is she? / Oh, Terry's fine, but we're still patching up the station. |
Hi, Jules. Sorry we're late. We got here as fast as we could. / Well, actually... / CNN is here. MSNBC is sending a chopper... Rae, I can't believe it. This is just like Johnston, only worse. / I... accidently saw the body, well, what there was of it. All that blood. God, Rae. / You're going to be okay. / Maybe. / Yes you are. You're as tough as I am, maybe tougher. Now, what do you want me to do? / I need you to stay here for the time being. I'll be heading over to the State Capitol shortly. There's supposed to be a press conference at 10 AM. / You stick around here, just in case anything else breaks. In the mean time, question the cops, nose around, whatever you can. / We'll be going live from here in about ten minutes. We've been asked to keep a lid on any DETAILS. / Julie, I want you to take that. It will calm you down. I know about these things. BELIEVE me, it will help. / Uh, thanks. / What was that all about? / Just a little bit of magick. |
Good morning, this is Terry Sligh. State Senator John Edward Beacham is dead. His body was discovered in a municipal parking garage in Tulsa early this morning. / Although authorities are not releasing any details, our sources say that HOMICIDE cannot be ruled out. / A press conference from the State Capitol building is scheduled for 10 AM. Let's now go LIVE to Raven Svoboda, who is at the scene. |
Good morning, Terry. The body of Senator Beacham was found at roughly 3 AM. / The police are keeping a tight lid on what EXACTLY happened. No one is being allowed in or NEAR the parking deck until all the levels have been searched. No word on how the search is proceeding. / Raven, do authorities believe there is any link between the senator's death and the horrible MUTILATION death of his top aide, Bo Johnston, just a few weeks ago? / We cannot speculate on that at this time. / In a pig's eye. |
I can't believe it! I hate it when we have to LIE. It goes against everything I stand for as a journalist. / "We can't speculate" wasn't really a lie. I mean, what do you REALLY know? / Don't take this the wrong way, Chelsea. But I remember what happened to those EVIL witches in Eleanor's castle. It's because of that, I CAN speculate. / I saw the body of the senator's aide, Bo Johnston. He looked the same way those witches you... well, whatever killed him, wasn't human. |
